This is a recipe I have used to make a yummy chocolate fudge sauce. Great to go on ice cream, steamed pudding, fruit, or for dipping strawberries or marshmallows in.
Cook it just a little longer and beat it and its make a lovely fudge sweet.

1 cup sugar ( 2 cups sugar for Fudge)
1/2 cup milk
1 oz butter (28gr)
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 level tbsp cocoa
If you want to make this a fudge (Increase sugar to 2 cups) make sure sugar dissolves before mixture boils. Prepare small square biscuit tin with baking or grease-proof paper. Cook mixture for 4 minutes after it has bubbled. Beat sauce preferably with a hand beater until it thickens but is still a pourable consistency. Pour into tin and leave to cool and set. Cut into squares you can add nuts or dried fruit to this fudge.
